Przewalski's horse Believe it or not, the Przewalski's horse is the only horse species in the world that is not domesticated. Besides that, it is an endangered animal. All these things make this Mongolian horse very rare and important. The Przewalski's horse once lived in the deserts of Mongolia, but since the 1960s it has disappeared in the wild. Luckily, some American zoos have been breeding them and they are now being reintroduced to the wild.
