Rachel Hi everyone, I am Rachel Wong, one of the members of the team. I am a Form 1 student (7th grader) who lives in Hong Kong. I'm very interested in drawing. As the interesting program ThinkQuest was introduced to us, my two other classmates and I decided to team up and participate in it. During all these months of research and composing, I think I have really learnt a lot. Of course, I have learnt so much knowledge of the desert, but I have also learnt how to collaborate with my two team mates. I enjoy working on this project and find that it was very useful to me. As a team member, my work is mainly drawing and scanning pictures, and also writing texts of whatever kinds of things. [But most of all, I must give my greatest gratitude to our coach Ms Hung who gave us all those precious comments and also my two teamates, Elaine and Grace.] |

Hi. I'm Elaine and I'm studying in Form 1(seventh grade) also in Hong Kong. I like to make homepages so when I heard that there's a program ThinkQuest, I decided to participate in it. I'm the one who uploads all the pages and makes the layout. It's sometimes tiring but I've learnt a lot more about javascripts and DHTML lately. Besides, I also help to compose some of the texts and search and search information everywhere in the library. I started to like the desert stuff=) I have learnt how to properly organise a project and how to divide work among others(team colaboration). Anyway, I must thank our coach Ms Hung for her support and guidance and also her precious comments:) and also Rachel and Grace. I've enjoyed this project very much! |

Grace I really enjoyed doing Desert Explorer. It was very fun. This is my first work done on the Internet and it's a totally new experience for me. Actually, I've just got access to the Internet for doing Desert Explorer. I learned a lot about computers and the Internet from Elaine and Rachel and most of all, I think I've become a little expert on the deserts of the world. I hope you will too after you've been to Desert Explorer but most important of all, ENJOY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Ms H. Hung Hi! I am Miss Hung, or Mrs. Au as my students would call me now as I am newly married. I was "invited" to be the team coach as I am the Science teacher of three girls who have an inquisitive mind and are eager to give themselves a challenge by participating in Thinkquest. I must say I don't really know how to be a good coach. I just tried my best to give them comments and suggestions to better the project. Personally, I have enjoyed being a team member very much and I have learnt a lot ,both computer knowledge and knowledge about deserts, through doing the project.
