Suggestion

  To promote peace and security on the Korean peninsula, We'd like to establish a transboundary peace park in the DMZ. The idea of a transboundary peace park(TPP) to prevent military conflicts, ease political tension, build confidence, and promote cooperation is not a new one. To resolve a boundary dispute in this manner was attempted by several countries. The concept of peace, security and cooperation through a TPP has been applied to many parts of the world and continues to provide an innovative way of building confidence and preventing conflicts in politically volatile regions. In addition to the political and environmental benefits that a TPP would bring, the other big asset is the actual economic benefits through eco-tourism and other environmentally sustainable use of the park. The DMZ in the Korean peninsula is similar to other places in many ways. A political agreement by the two Koreas to jointly manage the TPP along their boders is the start of cooperation, leading to a series of discussions and actives between them.
