The tuning and fine-tuning of the sharpness is very important if you're producing big prints that don't allow any little unsharpness. Professional photographers even use special magnifiying glass to control the sharpness of their prints before exposing them. |

Like a camera the enlarger has an objective, too. The numbers aside allow you to select a shutter. The use is the same as for acamera.
