Filter

UV Filter

UV filters reduce atmospheric haze by cutting down the ultraviolet light reaching the lens, and they are quite cheap. They do not change a lot because they do not absorb light. When permanently using such filters, you are protecting the lenses from dust and scratch.

Polarize Filter

Polarize Filter
Using a polarize filter makes the clouds appear clear and sharp

A polarize filter cuts down reflections from glazing objects, like water, glass, leaves of threes, etc. It also reduces the indirect light from the sky and therefore adds profile to clouds.

The filter has to be rotate to the right position to give the wanted effect.

Color Filters

In black and white photography color filter are a very useful and creative tool. They are made of a particular solid color. Objects having the same color as the filter will be lightened in the shot, complementary colors will appear darker.
