Darwin's Theory

There are four main tenets to Darwin's Theory:

  • Like begets like with variations within the offspring.

  • More offspring are produced than can survive.

  • Individuals in a population vary.

  • Survival of the fittest. Nature selects those varieties best fit for survival.

In time, these changes accumulate to form new species.
