Bronco's Quarterback Retires

Bronco's quarterback John Elway retires after 16 years and two Super Bowl victories. He said as he announced his official retirement, "I just can't do it physically anymore." His two Super Bowl victories came in 1997 and 1998. In 1998, he earned the Super Bowl MVP in one of the best games of his career. He was orriginally drafted by the Baltimore Colts.When he was first drafted he said he would not play football and he would play baseball for the New York Yankees, where he was drafted a couple months before. Buddy Brister will take over the quarterback job.

Ditka Trades Picks for Williams

Mike Dikta traded all of his draft picks except his first round to move up to number five in the draft order so he could get Ricky Williams. Williams the best running back last year, won the Heisman Trophy. Williams played for Texas where his twin sister currently is still in school.
