The tiger , one of the world's most magnificent and revered animals , stands near the brink of extinction . In several cultures, over the ages , this magestic creature has stood as a symbol of beauty , ferocity , and power , and has been worshipped . For a million years 'the lord of the jungle' lorded over a territory streching from eastern Turkey to North Korea , its forest home

extending northward to Siberia and southward to Bali . since the turn of the turn of the century its numbers and habitat have been reduced by 95% .In this century alone three sub species of the tiger were driven into extinction. Tragically the other five species are at a risk of meeting the same fate. They are being poached throughout their range - the reason being medicinal purposes .

But TCMs ( Traditional Chinese Medicines ) are just an excuse . Tiger hides and bones for decorations fetch a much higher bid at illegal auctions

in U.S & European markets .

Why is this awe-inspiring creature being hunted into oblivion ? We must stop this fruitless massacre of tigers ! We must speak out against this injustice ! WE MUST SAVE THE TIGER !
