This once a small community emreged from a simple village to abustling town and gained municipalities status on December 7, 1959.

Olongapo City lies 127 kilometers north of Manila and is located at the southernmost tip of the province of Zambales mountain. One travel route , connecting the coastal plain north of Subic Bay with Central Luzon and Manila, crosses the area via the Zambales mountain.

Visit their tourist spots like the Subic Bay and Subic Freeport. Another is the Spanish Gate. This is the main entrance to the fortified former naval settlement that is Olongapo still stands inside the Subic Bay Freeport.

Olongapo City Bremerton Sisterhood Marker- this is the marker which symbolizes the sister-city relationship between the people of Olongapo City and Bremerton City is located at Freindship Park near the main gate of the base.
