A sphere is defined as a set of all points that are a given distance from any given point. A pyramid is defined as having a base and the faces all meet at the vertex. A cylinder is like a prism except the bases are circles not polygons. A prism is a solid with 2 bases with as many faces as the number of vertices of the base. A cone is like a pyramid only the base is a circle.
