Algebra is a big part of geometry. There are a few properties of algebra (even if you never had algebra, this will be explained) that tie in to geometry. There are two groups of there properties. One is the Equality properties and the other group are called the Congruence Properties. In the Equality Properties there are 8: Addition Property, Subtraction Property, Multiplication Property, Division Property, Substitution Property, Reflexive Property, Symmetric Property, and the Transitive Property. These properties are important, but we will not go in depth to explain them. |
