The fully enclosed, column free structure provides an uninterrupted view of the 48 x 75 metre event floor, which can be used for anything from concerts and indoor sporting events to gala dinners and major exhibitions. The floor is surrounded by 5 levels of seats, which can accommodate up to 20,000 spectators. The SuperDome also has a large rehearsal hall which has direct access to the floor inside the arena. The arena is insulated from outside noise and can be blacked out to provide and enhance dramatical effects. Spectators will enjoy their experience in comfort with state of the art air conditioning. In addition, the high resolution instant replay screen and video scoreboard will be able to be seen by all.

There will only be 3,500 parking spaces available for the SuperDome, as most people are expected to use public transport. During the Olympic Games, the SuperDome will host Basketball (18,000 capacity) and Artistic Gymnastics (15,000 capacity), while during the Paralympics, only the Basketball will be held here.
