The Tang Dynasty (618 AD ~ 907 AD)
Before the Tang Dynasty, one of the tribes to the North of China, Tujue, was the strongest of all. However, the Tujue split up into the Western and the Eastern parts. The Eastern Tujie was very arrogant and did not have much regard China highly. At that time, the emperor of China was Li Shimin. He was considered one of the best emperors in the history of China. He was a military genius and soon defeated the Eastern Tujie. The Tang Dynasty was the golden age of China in the past as this was the strongest time of China in history. It excelled in terms of military, culture as well as economy. Plus, the defeat of a strong native tribe, the Eastern Tujue, all the other tribes yielded to China and paid obediently tributes.
