Welcome to our page entitled "Water around us". Looking through this work you will have the possibility of getting to know what interests us and over what we have been taking pains for 6 months.

We think that protection of the environment and the problems connected with it should be close to everyone. We hope, that the form in which we have treated such problems as circulation of water in nature, necessity of water protection and manners of this protection, will be interesting for You. In our work we discussed the condition of water in Ełckie and Michigan lakes, and also people's efforts aiming at restoration of purify of these lakes.

Why Lake Ełckie? Now because, it is a classical example of devastation of a picturesque lake situated at the hearth of Masuria - 'the land of thousand lakes', by humans.

Why Lake Michigan? It is a classical example of people's efforts, not always efficient, to save, what civilization has damaged.
