Cancer bush
Sutherlandia frutescens The
cancer bush can be used to treat internal cancers and stomach problems
to treat these ailments take 1 cup of leaves boiled in 1 litre of
boiling water. This can also be used to treat chicken pox and fevers. In
1772 a decoction or tea of the roots and leaves could treat eye
problems. Two leaves of the cancer bush in 1 cup of boiling water can
treat flu, liver ailments, rheumatism, and diarrhoea. Some people
believe that a little bit of cancer bush will improve their appetite. The cancer bush is a small shrub that can grow between 0,5m and 1.5m. The six species of the cancer bush are difficult to tell apart.
