Aloe
Aloe is a very useful plant and has been used for centuries. It can be used as a laxative it is taken internally. For preparation put 2-3 pinches of dried juice in 150 ml of warm milk. Aloe can also be used to treat burns, rashes, bruises, ulcers, sunburn and other skin infections. Apply fresh juice directly to the skin. The aloe plant grows best in sunny, frost free and dry areas. The aloe can grow up to 3m high. This plant is a succulent. The aloe has big red flowers and during spring it is full of pollen. The aloe is distributed along the eastern parts of South Africa.
