At the end of our project, each member felt the calling to leave their mark on this website which they have put their heart and soul into creating. Here are those "little somethings" that each member and coach has to say. Below are there unedited reminisces. Enjoy.

I think that we all learned a lot from this experience. It was unique working with people that I have never really even seen. huh. I don't want to make this a long drawn out ordeal, but tQ was really great. Now, I just have to thank my team mates, the thinkquest staff, Jeff LaFontaine, and everyone who helped me out. Especially my parents who were always on time with the snacks.
I really learned a lot from this, and put in countless hours to make the site perfect, and boy am I gonna be happy when MON rolls around and I can finally stop typing like mad. Just the effort of trying to get things all aligned right, and everything else was a lot of work. Most people don't realize all the work that goes into making a web site. And, may I add, that Brainwave is really
To sum it all up, TQ was great. Anywho, I vote for our site as winner, but no matter how far we actually make it, I think I would have still done it again, but with more snacks.

I have worked on creating webpages for school
activities, but those are rather small scale. When I
took on this project, I knew that i'll be learning
much more about web design and yes, that has been
true.
The reason why I chose to be in this team is the fact
that the other team members were just as keen to learn
more about the brain as I am. Also, three of us have
skills that complement each other.
The knowledge (web design and the brain) that I have
gained from this experience may prove to be useful
later in life. My ambition in future is to study
neuroscience.
I worked much on the graphical aspect of the site.
Much of the brain graphics were created using
Macromedia Flash. It was challenging creating my own
diagrams to avoid having to obtain copyright
permission. But all was worthwile and the product is
beautiful.
The best part of it all was to collaborate with my
team members every other day, if not daily. Our team spirit is amazing considering the physical distance between us. I really enjoyed every minute of this!

Creating website has always been one of my greatest interests. However, as I learnt to create webpages only about 4 years ago and had to learn it all by myself, through books and online tutorials, the pages I created were far from what an impressive webpage would look like.
Upon entering college, I had learnt much from past experiences and courses conducted by my school. I was then presented the chance of entering
Thinkquest. I hesitated at first, worried that my abilities were limited and was not up to the standard required by the competition. I joined finally with
the hope to learn more about creating impressive webpages. During this
period of a few months, I have indeed learnt much from my partners. I also had the chance to hone my Flash skills. In all, working together was a totally enriching and interesting experience. I have come out from this
experience a more informed person, learning not only more about web page design and also more about the topic, the brain.

This was just what the doctor ordered for Nick, It's probably the first time in his 15yrs that I have actually seen him challenged to the point of frustration. But as always he overcame obstacles in his path and for the first time actually needed some advice and took it, he has matured and achieved far more than I or his peers expected. Working with Mel & Lionel proved to be very difficult at times, the 13hr time difference was tricky in setting up brain storming sessions. The last 3 1/2 months have been non-stop, I am very proud of the TEAMS efforts and after observing the site find it to be very educational and professional. WTG kids great job!

Working with a
group of young, enthusiastic and creative
students is always
fun and enjoyable. ThinkQuest has helped
me to extend the
experience outside the classroom, and beyond.
This is
wonderful for an educator. I am very lucky as a
first time
coach to get such a wonderful team.
Throughout the months,
it is nice to see the team working
through every detail of the
site with hiccups here and there.
All is worthwhile, and
what a site they have produced!
Fantastic! I’ve thoroughly
enjoyed the various discussions
with Melody and Lionel on the
design, layout and structure of
the site. They look totally
exhausted these few days, but I
think this is an experience of
a lifetime for them. The
most important point is that all of
us has learnt and enjoy
every moment of it.
THREE
CHEERS for the youth of our team! You have done us
proud.
