Welcome to Rome
Up History Mythology

Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ears.

Ah, Ancient Rome, the literature, the feasts and festivals, the wine. Those were the times, a doctor was nothing more than a priest with some basic first aid training, the post office guaranteed delivery from Roma to Londinum in three to four months. A time where on holidays, like Saturnalia, you could go to the local amphitheater for some good old fashioned gladiator fight. So, what if the barbarians are afoot, and strange new cults keep coming from the east. Odacer, and Christ, bah! The Empire will live forever, but the life of an Emperor keeps getting shorter. Oh well, eat, drink, and be merry as we live out the glory of yesteryear's empire that stretched from the Atlas Mountains to the Caucus Mountains. From The highlands of Scotland to the heat of the Saharah.

This journey has been put together by a triad of greco-roman scholars. Paul Logasa Bogen II, the historian and geographer, Jeff Ryan Martinez, our resident classical antrhopologist, and Bobbie Jean Keane, our mythologist. None of us though hold degrees in these field because we, alas, are only lowly high schoolers who have taken intrest in our respective fields.

The Empire has been re-visited times.
