Coral reefs cover only a fraction of the ocean floor, yet they house over 30% of all known species of marine organisms. They have one of the highest concentrations of life found anywhere on Earth, and is the equivalent of the tropical rainforest. This high concentration of life make coral reefs one of the most interesting and beautiful habitats to study, and it important that we do not lose such a natural treasure.
