There is a high diversity of vegetable kinds, but the number of individual species is reduced. According to Baslev and his collaborators (1987) there is Añango ( National Park Yasuní), 228 kinds of trees per Ha represented in 728 trees per Ha in the non-flooding jungle while in the flooding jungle there is 149 espécies of trees per Ha represented in 417 trees per Ha.
