So, what will the future be like? We can only take an educated guess. Some people predict that we will live in space, like the Jetsons or the crew of the starship Enterprise. Some think that we may even live in the oceans, like on the television show Seaquest. Still others tell us that the future is up to us: Back to the Future. Whatever you think the future hold, its a sure bet you've considered it many times before.

Experts tell us that we can plan on increased use of robots (robotics) to handle pesky jobs and repetitive chores. They also see a communications revolution in which PC's and home computers well be outdated. A simple turn of a dial will bring more and better information and software to you through web connections. Great progress will be made in creating artificial food sources, as the world population continues to go up while our natural reserves dwindle. And, of course, with the discovery of ancient Martian microbes, the possibility of meeting extra-terrestrial life forms takes a higher place on the list of possibilities.
