The land is dominated by lizard-like animals, giant anphibians, and hugecarnivores.

During the Triassic period these early dinosaurs are not large at all. They are lightly built omnivores or carnivores, and they are very quick and agile. Most of these smaller dinosaurs will be extinct by the end of the triassic period.

During the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, the dinosaurs will be much more adaptive, and many of them will grow to gigantic sizes.
