The Chempire was created by two students as an entry for the
Thinkquest competition in 1999. Thinkquest is a program in which teams of students can create educational websites to compete for scholarships.
The Chempire is a free, self-supporting service. It will always be free. Please make use of it; hundreds of hours were spent making it useful to both students and teachers of high school
chemistry. It is a truly one-of-a-kind site.
