Robotic surgery sounds like something from a scenario of the Jetsons. Having a electromechanical device cut on you while unconcious is hazardous and concerning. Brain surgery is ideally suited for robotics because the skull provides fixed reference points for moun ting instruments and locating brain parts. The pobot will have details and xrays of the brain. A human surgeon will be there to supervise. Surgeons can operate from outside the body eliminating extensive cuts.
