1. BBC World Service - Science Home Page

   If you want to know more about Y2K on the world level, this site is the best to visit. With audio reports and transcripts, this site is one of the best one that deal with Y2K world wide. The choices for reports are from Russia, Kenya, Malaysia, Brazil, India, Bangladesh, and Nigeria. (More choice may be added after this project is over).

2. TIME Digital: Y2K Central

   Time Digital report on Y2K, extremely detailed articles considering all aspect of the millennium bug. It also have article considering other countries and their ways of dealing with this deadly bug that threaten all the modern world countries. These countries range from Russia to China. Though not as good as the world reports from BBC, it certain is a good a easy reading for people who doesn't want to listen to foreign reports. The site also include more detail articles that we have touch on here in our website, so if you want more information this site and Time magazine site is a good site to visit.

3. CNET News.com - Year 2000

   CNET is one of the most well known websites in the world. Which means their coverage on Y2K is just as well developed. They have numerous articles all very writen very nicely explaining everything on that topic. If you are a websurfer you would know this site is a great site, and if you find things that is not covered in our project you could check here. It is one of the best sites.

4. Wired News

   A website that covers things similar to other major news station. This site convers it very nicely and have some of its own special reports. If there is something that you can't find from above you might be able to find it here.

5. Business News from Wired News

   Worried about your business, Wired News, yes the same one from above, convers it as well. Matter of fact it covers it very well, so if you want to know what Y2K is doing to business and what is business doing check here.

6. MSNBC News

   NBC (National Broadcast Company) coverage of Y2K is similar to our sites with few other goodies that we didn't include. If you live in US you know what this station have and if you live out side of US, you can check it out.

7. ABC News

   Another T.V. station's website. It is similar to MSNBC above, however they have few pretty nice site (interactive news player doesn't work) like the interactive map which you can play around with. Other then that there is no real special thing about this site.

8. Fox News

   Similar from the top two news site, but with one advantage, it have more recent news!!! While the other site is based on Y2K information, this have more recent articles. However it does not mean that this site doesn't have information on Y2K like the other sites because it does.

9. Washington Post>

   Want major recent news, here you can only get articles with the last 14 days. It have many articles, however this is a American City newspaper.

10. New York Times

    Another well known American newspaper. A little more tough to surf, but contain pretty good information on Y2K.

11. American Red Cross - Y2K

    A site that give you information on how to prepare and prevent disaster from this bug. A good site to find out what you have missed in Y2K prevention.

12. Computer Currents

    A lot of Y2K computer current news. As you can tell from its name this site have all the current news on Y2K and I mean "all". If not "all" at least it has a lot of articles.

13. GLOBEtechnology.com

    New and old, you can search in this site easily, so you might find this site easier to work with.

14. Y2K NewsWire

    Well you might have guessed already, news on Y2K!!! Nothing special.
