In the process of creating this web site, many people have contributed
their time and effort in assisting us. We would like to express our gratitude
towards them for making this possible. We would like to thank Southern Illinois
University and Office of Educational Affairs for proposing the Thinkquest
idea to us and providing use of their facilities for computer work,
and Micropower Connecting Point, and Adobe System, Inc. for furnishing the
software key to completing this project. We would also like to acknowledge
Memorial Medical Center's Photography department for allowing us to use
their scanning instrument, as well as Memorial Medical Library for use of
their atlases.
