When you heard the word "mummy", the image of the Egyptians' all-wrapped-up probably slipped through your mind. They are artificial mummies preserved by some special kind of anticorrosives in ancient Egypt. The Egyptians also preserve some sacred animals like cat, but Egyptian mummies are not the only kind of mummy.

     There are natural mummies which are preserved by dry and hot sand or cold weather. One typical example of frozen mummy is Inca Mummy.
