Before I did this project, my impression of a mummy is just a corpse wrapped with cloth or toilet paper (like those we see in cartoons) put in a case. That’s it. However, as I started to gather information about mummies, it has given me a new insight into the subject. I know now that there are different types of mummies and mummies don’t only come from Egypt alone. I also learnt about the rituals involved after the death of an Egyptian and discover the deep secrets lying within a mummy case.

Besides factual information, we have picked up other skills along the way which we could use in some of our school projects. These skills include, web publishing, picture editing, writing, researching and interpersonal skills. I guessed the one big thing I learnt in this competition is about copyrights. I realised that we should ask for permission before using materials and pictures developed by other people as these people have put in a lot of effort. It is unfair to just take and use without crediting them.

Well, of course, I have also learnt how to work with my partner who has got a totally different style from me. Last but not least, we wish to thank all the people who have in one way or another helped us in this entry. We welcome you to email your comments to us.
