Washington D.C. : A Historical Tour of our Nation's Capital (DC Tours for short), is an entry by team 2813 in the ThinkQuest Internet Contest. The goal of these pages is to give visitors a better understanding about the history of Washington D.C. By taking the tours through various parts of the city, visitors can learn about the history surrounding each site. The tours will especially aid those who seek to visit the city in person to travel to each of the places.

The entry also includes a message base where visitors can post their comments and perhaps experiences they may have had in the city. This will allow the entry to grow and expand, as more experiences and stories are posted.

Andrew, one of the team's members, once lived in Washington D.C. A disaster at his home forced Andrew to move to suburbs in Maryland last spring. However, Andrew still keeps up with news about the city and has made various editorials in the current events portion of the page.
