Finishing the game
The objective of Go is to take control of territory .At the end of the game, the side which controls more territory wins the game.

For example in the above diagram , white controls the left side and black control the right side with both party consenting that each own their rightful share of territory (which means that they have no intention of invading into the territory) . The score is counted by counting the number of intersection points each side own . Hence , in this case , black owns 9X19= 171 points and white owns 8x19=152 points . As a result, black wins by 19 points .
Finally , the captured stones will be in each side prisoner’s pile and will be used to subtract opponent’s territory depending the number of prisoner stones . So remember to keep the captured stones.
