Attack and invading
.gif)
|
Above is an example of attacking white seeds because it is surrounded by black and no distinct or potential two real eyes . Black will then attack at seed 1
so as to cover and kill the stone .
Even if like in
.gif)
white have one space jump and is jumping towards the white camp , black can still play seed 1 to cover the two white seeds although it may seem be difficult . But one does no win only from eating the two seeds . He can win from attacking the weak seed and at the same expand and secure territory .
In
.gif)
, black has very strong wall on the top left corner but it has a low placing seed which is marked in the diagram . Hence , in
.gif)
, black will invade white territory "diagonally" at 1 in which will be followed by the strong move at A if black does not respond . The conventional move is shown in the diagram .
If black attack deeply as shown in
|
.gif)
, then he will be attack fiercely with black 2 with a motive to cover the black stone and eradicate it because there is so many black stones against the black stone .
In conclusion , in a situation where one side want to invade in another side of strong formation , a diagonal attack can be considered .
