Countnow requires quite good hardware. But with better software, most problems can be solved. Here the best components:

Screen with 800*600 and more pics resolution.
Fast processor with 150 MHz and more.
Actual Browsers. This site uses a javascript-support, which are garanteed only by Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher and Netscape 3.0 and higher. Required are also frames and CSS (Cascading Style Sheet).

First of all, you need an actual browser, which supports javascript and CSS. You have to chose one of these two products: Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Netscape's Navigator. Both can be downloaded in their actual version from the internet. Installationtips you find on the homepages of the firms:

If you have already a 4.0-Browser or higher, but the counters don't count correctly:
Navigator: In the menu edit/options/advanced, javascript has to be activated.
