First of all, welcome to our ThinkQuest website, Space Colonization: Expansion into the Unknown.
With this website, we hope we can get you excited about spaceflight, research, development and maybe even space colonization.
We also hope that by surfing our website, you'll increase your knowledge on the various subjects contained on this website,
without getting bored.
If you are getting bored with the influx of information, we have thought about that too. Just click on the menu button labelled
"Diversions" and you'll be taken to a page with links to all kinds of fun stuff related to space travel, research and colonization.
Finally, for those teachers that wish to incorporate the Internet into their lesson plans (and we applaud you!),
we have included a section labelled Educational Resources ("Education" on the menu bar) with links to other websites designed to
be used in school.
Now something about why we made this website. This website is made for the ThinkQuest contest,
which is an international contest in which students from all over the world form teams to make educational websites.
Follow this link to read about ThinkQuest's mission.
The teams compete for over $2 million in scholarship and cash prizes, so if you're between 12 and 19 years of age and you would
like to take part too, go to the ThinkQuest website [http://www.thinkquest.org], and sign up for ThinkQuest 2000!
