The Gods of Krynn
As in all worlds, there are gods to watch over the people, and the world of Krynn is no exception. There are 21 Gods in all, and they are all descended from the Father of All and of Nothing, Chaos. To maintain the balance, there are the Good, Neutral and Evil factions, with 7 Gods in from each alignment. However, we shall only touch on the more important immortals in this webpage.

Paladine
Paladine is the Father of Good and Master of the Law. He does not interfere with his fellow beings as long as their ways do not counter the law of Good. Paladine rules the Dome of Creation that surrounds all that is. He has two sons, Kiri-Jolith and Habbakuk.
He founded the Knights of Solamnia, of which he is the patron of the Order of the Rose, while Kirt and Habbakuk are patrons of the Orders of the Sword and Crown respectively.
Paladine’s avatars are Fizban, a muddled old wizard who assisted the companions in the War of the Lance, and a Platinum Dragon.
Mishakal
Mishakal is the goddess of healing that is known is every country in the land. She is known as the Light Bringer as it was through her that the knowledge of the True Gods was restored to the world.
She is Paladine’s companion and advisior, and they have three children: Kiri-Jolith ,Habbakuk and Solinari.
In her avatar form, she enhances the natural blue colour in objects around her.
Solinari
Solinari is the son of Paladine and Mishakal, and he is the master of Good magic and the patron of the White Robes in the Conclave. He flies through the skies over Krynn, keeping an eye on all magic. Like the other moons Lunitari and Nuitari, he chose to stay close to the world instead of being with the other gods in the heavens.
Solinari rarely appears in his avatar form because of his proximity with the world, but he becomes an old and serious wizard (unlike Fizban) when he assumes his avatar form.

GileanGilean is the leader of the Neutral gods and the patron of knowledge. He guards over the Tobril, a book which contains all the knowledge possessed by all the gods. All truth is contained within it, but parts of it are sealed. He is believed to reside in the Hidden Vale, a perfect valley that exists everywhere and nowhere. However, the ways to the Vale is sometimes revealed to those who follow his wisdom.
Gilean seeks to balance the forces of Good and Evil, often taking sides with the faction that is least powerful at that time.
Chislev
Chislev is the incarnate of nature, and companion to Zivilyn. She is the earth itself, and all plants and animals worship her. It is said that she and Zivilyn reside in the Forest of Zahn, the grandest of all forests. Elves believe that they will enter this place when they die if they are considered worthy.
Reorx
Reorx is the patron of dwarves and industry, and it is through him that chaos was brought under the control of the gods in this time and place. He was the one that created the Globe of Krynn and the Sun to give it light. He commands creation and technology, and forged the Greygem, which was used to defeat Chaos
Lunitari
Lunitari is the only daughter of Gilean, and the patron of Neutral Magic and the Red Robes. She chose to stay close to the world to keep a watchful eye on the balance of magical power as well as foster the growth of magic within.

Tahkisis
Tahkisis is the Queen of Darkness and the patron of all the Knights of Tahkisis and all that is evil. She led the shadows from the Beyond to aid in the creation of the cosmos. Her desire is to have control over all creation, for to her, it is her right. Sargonnas has been her companion since the beginning.
She can appear in any form she wishes but is most often seen as a five-headed dragon or a beautiful temptress.
Chemosh
Chemosh is the Lord of the Undead, and called to serve Tahkisis after being cast out of the Beyond by the High God. Tahkisis saw his usefulness and thus rescued him from the Void of Chaos. All undead are his minions, thus increasing his strength on Krynn.
Nuitari
Nuitari is the twin of Zeboim, the son of Tahkisis and Sargonnas. His love for magic surpassed his evil nature, thus he left the ranks of evil to join with the other two gods of magic, Solinari and Luntari, to create the Orders of Sorcery, where he is the patron of the Black Robes and Evil magic. He is constantly studying new spells to pass on to his wizards.
