The Deities.....
There are three main deities in the books of Dragon Prince, the Goddess, the Father of Storms, and the Nameless One. There are four main elements in that world, Earth, Fire, Wind and Water. The Goddess is in charge of Earth and Fire, while the Father of Storms is in control of the elements of Air and Water. The Goddess, in charge of fire, is also the one that created dragons, and is the main deity of the Desert and all Sunrunners. The Father of Storms is in charge of all winged creatures except dragons, and is a deity of the Desert as well, but not as much as the Goddess. The Goddess and the Father of Storms are generally regarded as good deities, allied with each other, and supposedly created the world together. The Goddess is the deity of all Sunrunners, as mentioned earlier, for Sunrunners use Fire and sunlight to weave light and help people in distress. (For more information on Sunrunners, check out Interesting Stuff 2.) The Nameless One is considered evil, as it is the patron deity of the diarmardh'im, the sorcerers, also called Stoneburners. It is the foe of the Goddess, just as the diarmardh'im are the enemies of the faradh'im, the Sunrunners.
