Born: March 22, 1869
Where: Kawit, Cavite
At 19, became Cabeza de Barangay and later served as the Captain of the
municipal of Kawit
1891 - Joined the secret soceity of Katipunan
December 14,1897 - he was exiled in Hongkong. Aguinaldo went back to the Philippines
to recommence the war against Spain in common cause with the Americans,
with the fleet of Admiral Dewy.
1898 - He was declared President
He established a De Facto Government
He repeatedly led the nation against the Americans, whom the Filipinos mistook as
friends and liberators.
Served as the President of the Association de Veteranos de la Revolucion.
June 12, 1898 - He gloriously unflured the Philippine flag to the melody of
our National Anthem.
March 23, 1901 - The American forces under Gen. Funston in Palanan, Isabela, captured
the subversive supremo and his forces.
1918 - He accepted a seat in the Council of the State during the Quirino Administration
1935 - He tried his fate in politics, opposing for the presidency of the Philippine
Commonwealth. He lost to the then Senate President Manuel L. Quezon
February 6, 1961 - The venerable soldier died at the ripe age of 95
