• Arrival: the city of Cuenca, the third largest city of Ecuador, is very near to the park. One only needs to take the road to Molleturo, passing by a toll, and the road enters the park and passes by the shores of La Toreadora Lake and the Administrative and Information Center for the park. The well conserved colonial atmosphere of Cuenca makes it also an important place to visit.
• Cajas : in Cajas, according to the faithful, has occurred one of the most famous apparitions of the in Ecuador. There are many followers that come every year to the eastern part of the park, to a place known as the Garden of the , to pay tribute to the Cajas .
