Different Males and Females

There are many species of butterflies where the males and females have very different colorings. If you look at the photos, you can see a rather brown one and a more colorful one. The colorful one is the male.

Sometimes the females mimic another species while the males must look different to be better known by the females. It can also happen that you see two females of the same species and you think you see two different species. Each female mimics another species.
