Ways to protect ourselves from radiation
      When we perform experiments which involve the use of radioactive materials, we have to 
      note the following precaution.       

       It should also be noted that a pregnant worker should wear some shielding over the 
       abdominal area, so as to minimize the radiation exposed to the foetuses, which is rapidly
       dividing and extremely vulnerable to radiation.

       Different types of radioactive materials emit different amount of radioactivity, each of them
       has to be labelled by each of the following labels. 




 The radioactive white label indicates the lowest level of hazard,  whereas the yellow label 
 means a higher degree of hazard.
