Detection of radiation by Cloud Chamber :

By choosing the source (alpha, beta or gamma), we can see how these 3 types of radiation shows up as tracks in a diffusion cloud chamber. Thus, we will be able to distinguish alpha, beta, gamma radiation from each other.

Effect of magnetic field on radiation :

What will happened to the travelling routes of the 3 types of radiation when they are put inside a magnetic field? You can experment it yourself right here!

Right-angled fork track - analogue experiment:

In this analogue experiment, by simulating the collision of an alpha particle and a helium particle, we can explain the right-angled fork track.
