EME Project - Antenna Array

Although Dave has a lot of cool equipment inside, the heart of the moon bounce experiment lies in his huge antenna array on the roof. When aligned properly he is able to send and receive signals off the moon.

Controlling Antenna Array (0:43)

In order to make a successful connection, the antenna has to be perfectly aligned with the moon. Azimuth and elevation of the antenna are controlled from within his office.
