Tyrannosaurus rex

The name Tyrannosaurus Rex means "Tyrant lizard King". It used to inhabit Asia and north America living in the Late Cretaceous ( 136 to 65 million years ago). It was Lizard Hipped. It was 6.5 meters in height, 50 feet in length, had claws and teeth that were 8 inches and weighed upto 7 tones It was a meat eating dinosaur and one of the largest of it's kind. It could even eat upto it's own weight in meat in a week!

Some scientists say that the tail was dragged on the ground, others say that it used to raise it to body level. on the ground and its body held upright. However, Scientists now believe that the living dinosaur would have held its body almost level with the ground, balanced by its tail held in the air, though recent research shows that the hand could lift hundreds of pounds.
