Frogs

A frog.SCIENTIFIC CLASSIFICATION: True frogs make up the family Ranidae.

TIME PERIOD: The first frogs came on earth 180 million years ago.

HABITAT: They live in every continent but for Antarctica. Most of them live part of their life in water, and the rest on land.

DESCRIPTION:A frog is that animal that jumps ( not a good definition ). It is small and tail less with big bulging eyes. They have strong and long hind limbs, enabling them to jump long distances. There are a few differences between frogs and toads. There are many species of frogs and toads. Some spend their entire life in water, while others come into water only to mater. Some never enter the water.

 

ITS PART IN EVOLUTION TABLE: Frogs come under the class Amphibia under Vertebratea under the Animal Kingdom.
