Most Olympic Titles

Three titles were won by: Carl Westergren (Sweden) in 1920, 1924 and 1932; Ivar Johansson (Sweden) in 1932 (two) and 1936; Aleksandr Medved (USSR) in 1964, 1968 and 1972; and Aleksandr Karelin (Russia) in 1988, 1992 and 1996.

Most Olympic Medals

Four Olympic medals were won by: Eino Leino (Finland) at freestyle from 1920 to 1932; Imre Polyak (Hungary) at Greco-Roman from 1952 to 1964; and Bruce Baumgartner (USA) at Freestyle from 1984 to 1996.
