Most Olympic Medals
India was Olympic Champion from the re-introduction of Olympic hockey in 1928 until 1960. They had their eigth win in 1980. Of the six Indians who have won three Olympic team gold medals, two have also won a silver medal - V Leslie Walter Claudius, in 1948, 1952, 1956 and 1960 (silver), and Udham Singh, in 1952, 1956, 1964 and 1960 (silver).
Most Olympic Titles
A women's tournament was added in 1980, and Australia have won twice - V in 1988 and 1996.
