Code -- Capacitance
Now identify and sort the capacitors. (See bag 2 for part numbers and capacitance values) Capacitor locations are indicated on the PCB by a "C" followed by the part number in or near the outline indicating the placement of the capacitor.
To place a capacitor, insert the leads through the holes and press the capacitor gently down close to the circuit board.Turn the board over and solder the leads in place. Use the soldering technique described in the tips section. Solder capacitors C 1 through C12 in place.
Capacitors C13, C14, and C15 must be positioned with the proper polarity. The location of the positive end of the capacitor is indicated on the component side of the circuit board.You can se that on C13 and C15, an arrow points toward the negative lead. On C14, the negative lead is indicated by a black stripe with a minus sign on the side nearest the negative lead.
Place the capacitors in their correct order and solder into place.
