The reference section is the heart of Webcytology's educational material. It's two main sections, the Guide and the Glossary, are devoted to explaining all of the important concepts of unicellular biology. You'll also find interactive quizzes on all of the sections in the Guide and a searchable database of birth and death dates of famous scientists.
The Guide
The Guide is your complete online reference to unicellular biology. Covering topics from the very basics of cells and their history to topics which one might find in an Advanced Placement biology course, the Guide presents information in an easy-to-understand manner. Quizzes on the information in the Guide are also accessible from each page in the Guide.
Glossary
The Glossary makes it easy to obtain concise definitions of biology terms if you would prefer not to read through the more detailed descriptions in the Guide. You can look up words either by their first letter or by searching through the entire Glossary. Also, as you read through the Guide, words which appear in the Glossary are highlighted. You can click on them to see their definition in the Glossary.
Quizzes
You can test your knowledge of any section of the Guide with Webcytology's quizzes. Either enter the entire directory of quizzes here, or first read through a page in the Guide and then click on the link on that page to take it's quiz.
