Packings
The the garbage mountains are growing, however one could save much garbage, if he/she does not pack everything double- or three-way, as in the left picture for example. Here one packing for the cartridge would be sufficient completely. This is a typically human invention. In nature such a thing would have never had a chance for surviving.
The plants pack their seeds and products substantially more pollution free. The packing opens at the correct time and saves material and room.
The banana has a patent tearing latch for example. No fruit can be opened as easily as the banana, and in the science it will still take some time, until a so intelligent mechanism on the consumer market is to be discovered.
In order to save garbage, one looks now for new sorts plastics.
For some years at bio pole is researched. Bio pole consists to 60% of natural products. A second research project is Mater-Bi - a natural plastic. It has a silk shining surface, melts with 135 degrees (celsius), lets no oxygen through, and is light-resistant. Mater-Bi is resistant to oils and organic solvents. It can be printed on or dyed. However Mater-Bi has a large disadvantage, which is its largest advantage at same time. Mater-Bi is not water resistant. And still another advantage exists: It diminishes itself within a year on the compost completely. Further nature packing is straw as successful substitude for polystyrene space packings. Also garbage bags are already made of corn.
In the picture on the left you can see a shampoo bottle from bio pole. It looses itself automatically in the water. Perhaps in a couple of years there are only packings from bio pole or Mater-Bi. That would be with a large step for mankind, and a still larger step for environmental protection!
