This website presents a small insight into the history of the hunter-gatherers of
Southern Africa.
Until recently, South African schools taught that our history began with the arrival of the European settlers in 1652. It ignored the history of people who had been living here for many thousands of years. We as South Africans, need to recall our past and honour the memory of all the people who have shaped our history.
