13 year old Elsie Wrigth and a fairy friend in a picture taken by 10 year old Frances Griffith. Elsie had already snapped Frances with a group of fairies. That was in 1917 in the small English village Cottingley. Three years later the two photographs were used with a magazine article and started a wrangle over their genuineness. It was never been proven definitely that they were faked.
